COLLEGE PREP CHECKLIST (EARLY DATES)
This is a student made check list, please contact us if you view any mistakes
Pick Colleges (look at location, majors offered, campus culture, price, ect.)
Collect and document community service hours (if hours can’t be documented they can still be mentioned on applications as “undocumented hours”)
Collect information on clubs, senior projects, sports, extruacuculars, internships, ect.
Send out letters of Recommendation form to teacher/ advisors/ counselor (ask for them to be completed by the earliest of November 1 and 30th at the latest)
Fill out scholarships (dates differ)
Get fee waivers from counseling or college prep program like 10,000 Degrees
Fill out FAFSA/Cal Grant Verification (October 1 - March 2)
Collect most recent transcript (November 1)
Finish college essays (November 1)
Get interview with college Alumni (before November 30)
Fill out Fall 2021 admission application (November 1 - 30)
Get final transcript (Before July 1)
Get final AP test scores (Before July 15th)
Hear back from Colleges (March 1- May 30)
